I just completed reading ‘Tribes‘ by Seth Godin. This will be the first in a series of posts about the book.
Godin defines a tribe as ‘a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader, and connected to an idea. A group only needs two things to be a tribe: a shared interest and a way to communicate.’
The people who attend Freedom each week are a tribe. A tribe of people that desire to be a part of something that matters. A tribe dedicated to something much bigger than they are.
As a leader, this book challenged me to view the people of Freedom differently and give them the tools that they need to continue to have this tribe increase. I strongly encourage any leader to read this book!
More to come…
