265th?

I’m a pretty competitive person.  I HATE to lose.  I HATE for my team to lose.  In fact, it puts me in a bad mood.  I’ll try to win at all costs.

However, I have never been so excited to be 265th in anything.  I ran an official half marathon over the weekend and finished in 2:26:31.  I finished 265 out of 283.  And I was excited about it!

My goal was to finish under 2:30.  I destroyed the first half but the second half of the race kicked my butt.

Nevertheless, I finished.  I beat my goal.  And I’ve got a medal to prove it!
