Passion

I love being around people that are passionate.  This past Saturday, I got together with 80,000 people to watch the Clemson/USC game.  I loved the atmosphere.  Each fan was passionate about their team.  I simply love passionate people.

It’s also one of the things that I love about Freedom Church.  Our Pastor and staff are passionate about seeing people far from God experience life in Christ.  Unfortunately, there are churches where this isn’t the case.  People come and go because it is something they have done every Sunday for their entire lives.

This quote really resonated with me the other day in dealing with this issue:  ‘If you don’t love what you are doing, you’ll never work hard enough to be the best.’ (Ken Blanchard)  This is why we strive for excellence.  This why we want to be better.  This is why we work hard.  Because we want to be at our best because there are far too many people that are out there that do not have a relationship with God!  Our desire to do something about it!!
