It

Pastor J.R. joined us for our monthly leadership training during staff meeting this past Monday.

We had a great discussion on the principles found it the book It by Craig Groeschel.  It is hard to explain what ‘it’ is, but we have all met a few people who we think have ‘it’. According to Groeschel, here are the traits of a person with ‘it’:

1.  Passion for His Presence.

2.  Craving to Reach the Lost.

3.  Sincere Integrity.

4.  Spirit-filled Faith.

5.  Humility.

6.  Brokenness.

What do you think about this list?  How are you living out these things in your life?

Pastor J.R. is funny. Tell him that I said that.

I am loving this book as well. And I love that I have been trained already in the “it” principle. Basically, people have it and can lose it and don’t need awesome stuff to get it.

I am kinda combining the principles in the book with the priority teaching Jim Wideman is giving this month. We have to make each of these things a priority. So spending time in prayer and the Word should be on the top or near the top of our priority list. Priorities that are not changing or altered. These are things that we must do in order for God to mold and meld these characteristics into our lives.

Love ya Todd praying for you guys at Freedom. I miss all of ya.
