College Group

Every Wednesday night at 9:00 pm, our college small group meets at my house.  While most of you are getting ready for bed, we are just gearing up to hang out with some students for about 3 more hours.

This is honestly one of the highlights of my week.  I enjoy the opportunity to engage them in discussion that is relevant to their lives.  I enjoy getting to know them and find out what their story is.  I enjoy the randomness that happens every week.  I also love the fact that we get the opportunity to give back something that every college student loves — FOOD.  It is one of the most fun things that I do all week long.

Since I have been leading this group, I have been convinced more than ever that we people need to be involved in a small group.  It helps you to get to know others in a very personal and real way.  If you are a part of Freedom Church, I strongly encourage you to get signed up for groups next month.  It’ll be one of the most helpful and fun things that you could do.  (Yes, you figured it out.  This is a shameless plug for Freedom Groups!)
